Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid CA State COTA license required
- Previous experience or coursework related to providing occupational therapy services in a school setting preferred
- Knowledge of age-appropriate therapy techniques for K-12 students
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Support implementing IEP goals through individual and group occupational therapy interventions
- Collaborate with licensed OTs, teachers, and school staff to ensure integrated student care
- Monitor and document progress, adjusting therapy activities as needed
- Assist in evaluating students’ needs and developing activity-based strategies
- Educate and empower staff and families on approaches to help students succeed
- Maintain accurate and timely records of sessions and student outcomes
