Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid and active COTA license in California is required
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is a plus, but not mandatory
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a student-centered mindset
- Commitment to supporting students with varied needs and backgrounds
- Ability to adapt to different environments throughout the district
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with two Occupational Therapists to deliver high-quality interventions and activities
- Assist in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for students
- Document progress and maintain accurate records according to school policies
- Use creative problem-solving to support students’ daily occupational performance
- Communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and families to promote holistic student care
