Key Qualifications:
- Active COTA certification and licensure as required by the state
- Demonstrated experience within school environments (mandatory)
- Expertise in implementing IEPs and adapting activities for diverse student needs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, parents, and staff
- Ability to work independently and follow OT guidance
- Commitment to fostering inclusive, student-centered learning
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services to students under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
- Document student progress, maintain records, and contribute to IEP meetings
- Support occupational therapy evaluations by performing selected assessments and observations
- Help develop sensory, motor, and adaptive skill interventions tailored for individual student success
- Communicate therapy goals, strategies, and progress clearly to staff and families
- Consistently uphold school policies and confidentiality standards
Position Details:
- Full-time: 35 hours per week
- Schedule: 7:00am – 3:30pm, Monday through Friday
- Directly support one school site, providing continuity and consistency for students
