Key Qualifications:
- Current, active Florida DOH OTA license required
- Previous experience in an educational setting preferred, especially with the PreK–12th grade age range
- Ability to travel between 3–5 assigned school sites within the district
- Clear and professional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational abilities to manage a varied caseload and adapt to multiple school environments
- Must meet district credentialing requirements, including fingerprint clearance (candidates already in the AHCA Clearinghouse may expedite this process)
Role Highlights:
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed OT
- Support student IEPs and education plans through adapted activities and accommodations in classroom settings
- Document progress and maintain compliance with documentation guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure student success
- Provide services on-site across several campuses; reliable transportation required
- Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute strategies for student growth
