School-Based Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Gig Harbor, Washington
A well-regarded school district near Gig Harbor, WA is seeking a skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide essential support in a high school environment. Key Qualifications:
- Valid Washington State COTA license required
- Must complete fingerprinting through OSPI
- Previous experience working with school-aged students or within school settings preferred

- Ability to collaborate effectively with Occupational Therapists, teachers, and support staff
Responsibilities:
- Work directly with high school students under the direction of Occupational Therapists
- Implement therapy programs designed to foster student independence, fine motor skills, and classroom participation
- Document student progress and communicate with therapy team and educators
- Assist in the adaptation of classroom materials and activities to meet individual student needs
- Participate in team meetings, IEP processes, and school-related activities
