School-Based Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) | Glendale, California

This contract position is based onsite, working with a dedicated elementary caseload alongside an enthusiastic educational team. This assignment begins as soon as possible and continues through June 9, 2027, offering stability and the chance to make a lasting impact over multiple school years. Enjoy a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00AM to 3:30PM, with your evenings and weekends free.
Key Qualifications:
- Active and current COTA license issued by the state of California
- Previous experience in a school-based occupational therapy setting
- Familiarity and comfort working with elementary-aged children
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for effective teamwork
- Ability to adapt interventions to meet each student’s unique needs
- Commitment to maintaining professional standards and confidentiality
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to elementary students based on Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Support classroom participation and independence in daily school activities
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other related service providers to optimize student outcomes
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with school and district policies
- Participate in IEP meetings as needed and provide input for goal setting and progress review
