Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy
- Active Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) license in Maryland
- Experience or strong interest in working within a school-based setting
- Ability to engage with students across K-12 grades, adapting interventions to meet varied developmental needs
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality occupational therapy services as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Conduct assessments and support the implementation of IEP goals
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records
- Provide direct, hands-on support to students, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and related service providers to maximize student outcomes
