Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Active Florida COTA license required
- Prior experience in school-based settings preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Comfortable traveling to multiple sites across Hendry County
- Flexibility and organizational skills to manage schedules at several locations
- Commitment to fostering student independence and participation in school activities
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with students as directed by an Occupational Therapist to develop and implement therapy interventions
- Assist in creating and modifying activities that enable student access to the educational curriculum
- Maintain accurate records and progress notes as required by district and state guidelines
- Communicate regularly with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student development
- Participate in meetings and IEP processes as needed
