Qualifications & Experience:
- Current, active Florida COTA license required
- Prior experience in a school-based setting is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to travel to various school locations within the county
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Collaborative approach to working with interdisciplinary educational teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer therapy interventions under the supervision of the occupational therapist to K–12 students
- Carry out treatment plans tailored to each student’s unique needs, ensuring progress towards their educational goals
- Collaborate closely with teachers, other school staff, and families to support student success in both academic and functional skills
- Document interventions and outcomes following school and district guidelines
- Adapt to a multi-site schedule with site assignments confirmed before the school year
