Qualifications and Experience:
- Active state licensure required to practice as a COTA
- Previous experience working with pediatric clients, preferably in educational settings
- Familiarity with a range of school-based therapy interventions
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with staff, students, and families
- Organized, proactive, and flexible approach to managing caseloads
- Comfortable working on-site and open to travel assignments
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services in alignment with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Document and report on student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
- Work alongside occupational therapists and other school professionals in delivering comprehensive care
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to multi-disciplinary planning
- Provide resources and recommendations to teachers and families to support student success
