Assignments are coordinated in advance, giving you clarity on your schedule and students, and you'll enjoy a variety of experiences across several school settings.
What we’re looking for:
- Current, active Florida COTA license
- Previous experience in a school environment is a plus
- Willingness and capability to travel throughout the county during the workday
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Adaptable, organized, and enthusiastic about working with K–12 students of all abilities
What you’ll be doing:
- Delivering individual and group occupational therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Collaborating with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student IEP goals
- Documenting sessions and progress in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Adapting interventions to meet a diverse range of student needs
- Supporting multiple school sites, gaining valuable experience with a variety of educational teams
