Key Qualifications:
- Active, valid COTA license issued by the State of Florida
- Prior experience in school settings is highly desirable
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to various schools across Hendry County
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with educators, students, and families
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of various school schedules and environments
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to K–12 students, supporting their educational and developmental needs
- Work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to implement student treatment plans
- Accurately document student progress and maintain up-to-date records in compliance with school and district requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals and interventions
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to promote student success in the classroom and school environment
