You’ll work one day per week (7.5 hours) with a manageable caseload of 13-14 students, allowing you to focus your energy on providing high-quality therapy and support. Collaborate closely with teachers and other professionals to enhance each student's growth, learning, and independence throughout the school year.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active COTA certification and relevant state licensure
- Prior experience in a school environment is highly valued
- Strong skills in occupational therapy interventions for children and adolescents
- Experience working with a broad age range (PreK-12th grade)
- Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork abilities
- Confidence in managing a focused caseload with autonomy
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services tailored to each student’s IEP goals
- Support and document students' progress toward established outcomes
- Collaborate with occupational therapists, educators, and families
- Assist with adapting classroom activities and materials
- Provide consultation and training to staff when needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and share updates as required
