What we’re looking for:
- Current licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Experience or interest in school-based OT services
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Dedication to supporting diverse learners across K-12 settings
- Ability to manage a medium to large caseload consistently (caseload: 50-55 students)
- Reliable, organized, and adaptable to various educational environments
Key responsibilities:
- Implement occupational therapy interventions according to IEPs under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
- Document student progress, maintain records, and report data as required
- Collaborate with teachers, OT staff, and educational professionals to tailor support strategies
- Assist students in developing functional skills for classroom participation and independence
- Participate in meetings, professional development, and team discussions as needed
