Qualifications & Credentials:
- Current COTA license, valid in Virginia
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Experience in educational or pediatric settings is highly valued
- Ability to adapt interventions to meet a wide range of student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to K-12 students
- Assist in developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Document session notes, progress, and maintain compliance with all state and district guidelines
- Collaborate with lead OTs, teachers, and parents to support student success
- Modify classroom materials or environments as needed to promote student participation
