Qualifications:
- Current (or eligibility to obtain) New Mexico RLD and NMPED licenses
- Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage a varied caseload across multiple grade levels
- Previous experience in healthcare or school-based COTA roles a plus
- Education experience preferred but not necessary
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to students under OT supervision
- Document student progress and maintain detailed records
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student success
- Assist with evaluations and the development of customized treatment plans
- Travel between elementary and secondary campuses as needed
- Adapt interventions for a range of abilities and ages
