What We’re Looking For:
- Active Washington State license as a COTA (Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant)
- Background in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy settings preferred
- Experience working with K-12 student populations, ideally across multiple age groups
- Excellent collaborative skills for partnering with teachers, families, and multi-disciplinary teams
- Ability to manage caseload across locations within the district and adapt to changing needs
- Strong communication abilities for documentation and reporting progress
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy to students as outlined in IEPs and collaborate on treatment planning
- Assist in screening, assessment, and data collection under the direction of an occupational therapist
- Support students’ participation in daily classroom activities and school routines
- Implement age-appropriate interventions that encourage independence and skill development
- Travel between district locations as needed to serve a diverse group of learners
- Maintain regular communication with staff, caregivers, and the supervising OT
