Make a meaningful impact supporting high school students as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant on a long-term contract basis. This full-time role runs from ASAP through June 17, 2027, with consistent hours (7.5 per day, totaling 37.5 per week). You’ll collaborate closely with experienced Occupational Therapists, providing valuable support and care to students with diverse needs.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Washington State COTA license (active and in good standing)
- Fingerprinting clearance through OSPI required
- School-based or pediatric experience strongly preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to student-centered care
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support Occupational Therapists in delivering direct and indirect services to high school students
- Carry out OT treatment plans, interventions, and assist with documentation requirements
- Adapt approaches to meet each student’s unique goals and abilities
- Participate in team meetings, IEP development, and contribute insight to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and uphold school and district policies
