School-Based Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) | Santa Ana, California
Bring your expertise as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to a rewarding contract position supporting students in a vibrant educational setting. As a part-time COTA working 25 hours weekly, you’ll collaborate with dedicated professionals to promote student development and maximize independence. Starting from November 30th, with the option to begin earlier to shadow, you’ll have the flexibility and support needed to transition smoothly into your role. The contract continues through early June, aligning perfectly with the academic year.
What we’re looking for:
- Active CA COTA license required
- Prior experience working in school-based settings essential
- Comfort providing services across multiple campuses
- Skilled in collaborating with educational teams and families
- Strong communication, flexibility, and passion for helping school-age children succeed
What you’ll do:
- Deliver occupational therapy services as directed by licensed occupational therapists
- Implement and document individualized interventions for students with diverse needs
- Work closely with teachers, therapists, and support staff to integrate strategies in classroom settings
- Participate in meetings, progress evaluations, and support plans
- Travel between assigned school sites as needed
