Qualifications & Skills:
- Active and current California COTA license required
- Previous experience working with school-age children is essential
- Demonstrated understanding of school-based occupational therapy interventions
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to efficiently manage a dynamic caseload across assigned schools
- Reliable, organized, and flexible in adapting to evolving student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist licensed occupational therapists in delivering direct and consultative services
- Support students in achieving individualized education plan (IEP) goals
- Document progress and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and staff trainings as needed
- Provide adaptive strategies and modifications within classroom settings
- Uphold compliance with regulations and district policies
