You’ll work alongside a dedicated OT team to assist students during two consecutive maternity leaves, making a meaningful impact on their learning and development. Key Qualifications:
- Valid Arizona COTA license required
- Experience or coursework in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy preferred
- Ability to support implementing therapy plans in a school setting
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Willingness to be available for occasional meetings outside regular school hours
Primary Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with supervising OT to deliver therapy services to students
- Carry out daily treatment sessions, as directed, addressing a variety of student needs
- Document therapy sessions and progress notes accurately
- Assist with evaluation procedures and data collection as needed
- Participate in special education meetings before or after school, ensuring a team-based approach
- Contribute ideas to accommodations, adaptive equipment, and strategies for student success
What’s Offered: This contract offers 32.5 hours per week, with schedules from 8am–3:00pm or 8:40am–3:40pm, depending on assigned school sites.
