We are seeking a compassionate, motivated, and student-centered Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our school-based therapy team in Seattle, WA. The COTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to support students in developing the functional skills they need to participate successfully in the school environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for a COTA who enjoys working with children, collaborating with educators, and helping students build independence in their daily school routines.

Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to students under the supervision and direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
- Implement individualized treatment plans and IEP-related occupational therapy goals.
- Support students with fine motor skills, handwriting, visual-motor integration, sensory processing, and activities of daily living.
- Help students improve classroom participation, functional independence, and school-related skills.
- Document student progress, maintain accurate service records, and communicate observations to the supervising OT.
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, families, and other members of the educational team.
Qualifications
- Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- Current Washington State occupational therapy assistant credential, as required for practice.
- NBCOT certification preferred or required, depending on applicable regulations and employer policy.
- Experience working with children or in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred.
