Step into a fulfilling contract role supporting elementary students as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in a vibrant school setting. This full-time, onsite position runs Monday through Friday, 8:00AM–3:30PM, and offers the chance to make a lasting impact throughout the school year and beyond, with an assignment running through June 9, 2027.
Your expertise will support an elementary caseload, collaborating closely with educators and therapists to help students reach their full potential. This opportunity is ideal for a passionate, experienced school-based COTA ready to contribute to a dynamic educational environment.
What We’re Looking For:
- Current, active COTA license in California
- Demonstrated experience in a school-based setting
- Confidence working with elementary-aged students
- Ability to work onsite and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to elementary students in alignment with IEP goals
- Work individually and in small groups to support students’ functional skills within the classroom
- Collaborate with occupational therapists, teachers, and staff to develop and implement effective interventions
- Track and document student progress, maintaining accurate records
- Participate in IEP meetings and communicate regularly with families and staff
- Create an inclusive, supportive environment where every child can thrive
