School-Based Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Valley Center, California

You’ll support students across multiple campuses, working alongside two dedicated OTs. From collaborating on individualized education plans to helping students achieve greater independence in their learning environments, your work will be essential to enhancing educational outcomes throughout the 26/27 school year.
Qualifications:
- Current, valid COTA license issued by the State of California
- Experience in school settings preferred but not required
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Flexible and responsive to the needs of students and the OT team
- Ability to work effectively across different school sites within the district
Responsibilities:
- Carrying out treatment plans as directed by supervising OTs
- Supporting the progress of students with a range of therapeutic needs
- Observing, documenting, and reporting student development
- Collaborating with teachers, families, and other professionals
- Traveling between assigned school sites as needed
