Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in Ventura, CA

Key Experience & Qualifications:
- Active COTA license in California (or eligibility for one)
- Recent experience working in a school-based or pediatric occupational therapy setting preferred
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Ability to establish rapport and motivate students
- Collaborative spirit working with therapists, teachers, and families
Responsibilities:
- Implement therapy interventions as designed by occupational therapists
- Support individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
- Track and monitor student progress, maintaining detailed records
- Adapt materials and assistive devices to help students succeed within classroom routines
- Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and participate in meetings as needed
- Create an engaging and positive therapy environment
