Key Qualifications:
- Active Florida Department of Health OTA License required
- Experience supporting school-aged children, ideally across PreK–12th grade
- Ability to thrive while managing caseloads across 3–5 campuses
- Willingness to complete district-specific fingerprinting requirements (existing AHCA Clearinghouse prints may be accepted)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Collaborative, adaptable, and self-motivated approach
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Deliver occupational therapy services in accordance with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Work onsite, traveling between designated schools to support diverse student caseloads
- Document assessment findings, session progress, and outcomes in compliance with district requirements
- Consult and coordinate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to foster student success
- Support the development and implementation of classroom strategies and modifications
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to collaborative planning
What To Expect: The position begins as soon as possible, running through June 1, 2027, with a commitment of 35 hours each week during the school year. Caseload will be assigned within 3–5 local campuses, providing variety in your daily responsibilities and the chance to positively influence many students.
