School-Based Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) | Vista, California

This contract position offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 to 40 hours per week, with the flexibility to consider part-time hours for those seeking a more balanced workweek. You’ll work district-wide, making a meaningful impact across multiple school settings while collaborating with a dynamic team and providing essential services directly alongside two dedicated Occupational Therapists.
Your responsibilities will include working with students to implement therapy programs, supporting their daily success and classroom participation, assisting with assessments, and collaborating closely with educators and families to ensure the best possible outcomes for each child. Your passion and technical expertise will help create a supportive environment for students to achieve their fullest potential.
Qualifications:
- Active California COTA license required
- Experience in school-based settings is highly valued

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in delivering occupational therapy services under OT supervision
- Support students’ individual educational plans
- Document progress and maintain accurate records
- Communicate clearly with staff and families regarding student progress
