Qualifications:
- Valid COTA certification in Connecticut
- Previous experience in school-based settings strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to support both elementary and secondary-age students
- Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with teachers, therapists, and families
- Comfortable adapting to a dynamic caseload as more details become available
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to K-12 students under the supervision of an OT
- Assist with implementing individualized plans, helping students develop the skills needed for success in the classroom and beyond
- Document student progress and collaborate in team meetings
- Adjust therapeutic activities to suit each child’s abilities and goals
