Qualifications:
- Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) certification
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is highly desirable
- Knowledge of school-based therapy documentation and best practices
- Ability to work confidently and compassionately with young children
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy interventions to elementary-aged students according to IEPs
- Conduct group and one-on-one sessions to address student goals
- Collaborate with OTs, teachers, and school staff to support academic and functional skills
- Maintain accurate records and progress notes
- Participate in team meetings and provide input for student growth
- Adapt therapy activities to meet diverse needs within the classroom environment
Schedule Details:
- Part-time, contract position
- 18 hours per week, spread over 3 days (Monday through Friday)
- Start time: 8:30am; End time: 2:30pm
