What You’ll Bring:
- Active licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Washington State
- Previous experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP process and ability to contribute to student evaluations and goal setting
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with educators, parents, and other specialists
- Exceptional time management and organization, especially in a dynamic school environment
Your Role and Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to determine students’ needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Implement therapeutic interventions to support students’ academic and functional independence
- Work closely with teachers and staff to adapt classroom activities and environments for student success
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and updates on student progress
- Document services, maintain timely records, and track student outcomes
- Provide consultation and training to school staff and caregivers, fostering inclusive practices
