Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid and current Occupational Therapist (OT) license
- Previous experience in school-based occupational therapy preferred
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
- Adept at assessment, documentation, and progress reporting
- Compassionate, patient, and adaptable to diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students with various physical, emotional, or developmental needs
- Deliver direct therapy services in both individual and group settings
- Consult and collaborate with educators, administrators, and parents to support classroom and at-home strategies
- Document and monitor student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational accommodations
- Provide training and support to school staff on occupational therapy principles and best practices
