You’ll have the chance to leverage your expertise while working remotely, with a manageable caseload and a weekly schedule of 6 to 7 hours, plus an additional 10 weeks of comp time.
Your essential skills in delivering school-based occupational therapy will help students thrive and achieve in their academic environments. You’ll collaborate with educators and families to ensure comprehensive student care.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
- Active Occupational Therapist license in the state of practice and/or the requirements needed for virtual services
- At least one year of school-based OT experience (K-12 preferred)
- Comfortable and proficient in providing teletherapy using secure platforms
- Strong communication skills to engage effectively with students, staff, and families in a virtual setting
- Skilled in managing digital documentation and progress notes
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized virtual OT services for K-12 students
- Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with student IEPs
- Monitor, assess, and document student progress using digital tools
- Attend virtual meetings with school teams and families as needed
- Consult and coach educators to support in-classroom strategies (virtually)
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all ethical and professional standards
