Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Occupational Therapist license and certification in the state
- Experience as an OT in a school setting is strongly preferred
- Understanding of IEP development, documentation, and goal setting
- Skilled in assessments, treatment planning, and progress monitoring
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities with students, staff, and families
- Adaptable, organized, and passionate about student growth
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services in accordance with IEPs
- Support students in developing fine motor, sensory processing, and daily living skills
- Work closely with teachers, special education staff, and parents to facilitate student success
- Document services, maintain appropriate records, and regularly update progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
