A rewarding opportunity is available for a certified Occupational Therapist seeking a contract role supporting students in a dynamic school setting close to Aurora, CO. With this role, you’ll provide vital services across both elementary and high school campuses, making a direct impact in students' educational journeys.
Key Qualifications:
- Current and active Occupational Therapy (OT) licensure required
- Experience in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy preferred
- Knowledge of Occupational Health practices as they relate to educational environments
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to travel between locations as scheduled
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver therapeutic interventions for students in both elementary (3 days/week) and high school (1 day/week) settings
- Work closely with educators, administrators, and families to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Assess students’ needs, maintain thorough records, and monitor progress toward goals
- Provide support and training to staff about adaptive equipment and strategies for inclusion
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support the students’ educational and functional outcomes
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and district guidelines
Position Highlights:
- Contract role from August 18, 2026 through June 3, 2027
- 34 hours per week, Tuesday through Friday (no work on Mondays)
- Serve a diverse caseload in supportive academic environments
- Onsite assignment fostering direct relationships with students and staff
