Occupational Therapist School Setting in Aurora, CO

Key Qualifications:
- Valid Colorado Department of Education certification for Occupational Therapists, authorized to work with students from birth through age 21.
- Prior experience providing occupational therapy in a K-12 school setting strongly preferred.
- Ability to complete all required background check documentation promptly upon offer.
- Skilled in adapting interventions to meet the diverse needs of students at different educational stages.
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group occupational therapy services to students in accordance with each student’s IEP or 504 plan.
- Work closely with teachers, counselors, and other school staff to develop strategies and support plans for students.
- Conduct assessments, maintain clear documentation, and share progress updates with families and the school team.
- Manage a dynamic caseload, with school assignments determined by district needs.
