Exciting opportunity for a dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide impactful services for K-12 students. Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to K-12 students, adapting approaches to meet diverse learning and developmental needs
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to develop and implement individual therapy plans
- Conduct assessments, maintain thorough progress documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
- Serve as a resource for classroom staff, modeling techniques and providing recommendations for student support
- Manage a varied caseload, prioritizing students as assigned and adapting interventions as needed
- Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
Qualifications:
- Current CO Department of Education Occupational Therapist certification (serving ages birth thru 21)
- Experience or strong interest providing occupational therapy services in school settings
- Ability to adapt to varying caseloads and age groups
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to undergo a background check prior to hire
