School Occupational Therapist - Aurora, Illinois

Key Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in the state
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, administrators, and families
- Strong organizational and communication skills

Schedule & Locations:
- 2 days weekly at an elementary building (8:45 AM–4:00 PM with a 30-minute unpaid lunch)
- 3 days weekly at a high school (7:05 AM–2:35 PM with a 30-minute unpaid lunch)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized therapy plans for students
- Deliver direct therapy services and support occupational goals as outlined in IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to incorporate strategies within the classroom
- Track progress, maintain thorough documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
- Adjust interventions and consult with families to maximize student success
- Promote inclusion, functional independence, and participation in school routines
