Qualifications & Experience
- Valid Occupational Therapy licensure (Illinois or eligibility for expedited licensure)
- Experience or passion for working in school-based settings
- Adaptable and collaborative, able to thrive in both elementary and high school environments
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Familiarity with IEP documentation and the ability to tailor interventions to a diverse student population
Key Responsibilities
- Provide OT services two days a week at the elementary level and three days at the high school
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with school teams, families, and educators to support student success
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with school policies
- Advocate for students’ needs across a split schedule, balancing workload efficiently
