Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active OT license in Texas or eligibility to obtain
- Experience in a school-based setting preferred, but enthusiastic new graduates will be considered
- Ability to design and implement individualized education plan (IEP) goals
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with school teams, students, and families
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic, collaborative environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and provide evidence-based therapy for students with diverse needs
- Develop and deliver interventions focusing on fine motor skills, sensory processing, and adaptive behavior
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation
- Educate staff and caregivers on strategies to support student success within the classroom and beyond
- Support a collaborative and inclusive school culture
