- Previous experience serving school-aged children, ideally within a public or private school environment
- Knowledge of IEP process and documentation requirements
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with teachers, support staff, and parents
- Flexibility and adaptability to respond to changing student needs
- Proficiency in developing and implementing therapeutic interventions focusing on fine motor, sensory processing, and daily living skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students to determine functional abilities and needs in the school setting
- Develop and deliver individualized treatment plans to achieve student goals
- Document and track progress in accordance with school and federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Provide consultative support to teachers and staff to promote student participation and inclusion
- Adjust services as required through close collaboration with the educational team
