Qualifications/Experience:
- Active Pennsylvania Occupational Therapy license
- Educational Specialist I or II Certificate (required)
- Previous school-based, pediatric, or special education experience strongly preferred
- Committed to working in Carbon and/or Lehigh County throughout the contract term
- Comfortable supporting students with diverse disabilities and needs
- Able to commit to a school-day schedule up to 35 hours per week
- Willing to attend an in-person interview
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students with varying support needs within an educational setting
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain thorough documentation regarding student progress and therapy outcomes
- Evaluate and adapt activities to promote students’ functional independence and academic participation
- Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and professional development as needed
This contract runs from your earliest possible start date through June 2027, following the assigned school calendar. Assignment locations and schedules are based on current needs and may be adjusted as required.
