Key Qualifications:
- Valid Pennsylvania Occupational Therapy license (required)
- Educational Specialist I or II Certificate (required)
- Willingness to work in Carbon or Lehigh County as assigned
- Availability for a school-day schedule, up to 35 hours per week
- Experience working with pediatric, school-based, or special education populations
- Confidence in supporting students with a range of disabilities and support needs
- Ability to attend an in-person interview
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess and address students’ occupational therapy needs in alignment with IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff for holistic student support
- Develop individualized intervention strategies to enhance students’ participation in educational activities
- Document progress, maintain records, and communicate updates to the multidisciplinary team
- Flexibly adapt to assignment locations and schedules per the school’s requirements
