Qualifications & Experience:
- Hold an active Pennsylvania Occupational Therapy license
- Have an Educational Specialist I or II Certificate
- Able to present proof of PA OT licensure and NBCOT certification
- Available for a full-time, school-day schedule (up to 35 hours/week)
- Prior experience in school settings, pediatrics, or special education highly desired
- Confident working with students with a wide range of disabilities and support requirements
- Willing and able to work in Carbon or Lehigh County as needed by the district
- Capable of attending an in-person interview during the hiring process
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group occupational therapy interventions to students per IEP goals
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to create and monitor student plans
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of services and progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Adapt strategies and materials to meet student needs in evolving school situations
- Comply with all district, state, and federal guidelines for school-based OT services
