Desired qualifications:
- Active Pennsylvania Occupational Therapy license (required)
- Educational Specialist I or II Certificate (required)
- Experience in school-based, pediatric, or special education settings preferred
- Able to work confidently with students across a spectrum of disabilities and support needs
- Willing and able to commute to and work within Carbon or Lehigh County
- Available for up to 35 hours each week during school hours
- Must attend an in-person interview and provide proof of licensure and NBCOT certification
Key responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and group occupational therapy for students, following IEPs and supporting academic participation
- Conduct assessments and document student progress in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary team members
- Support students’ development in fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-regulation, and daily living activities
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting and progress monitoring
