Occupational Therapist School Setting in Brighton, CO
Step into a dynamic school-based environment supporting students’ growth as an Occupational Therapist in suburban Colorado. You’ll divide your time between two welcoming schools, working with a diverse caseload of 50 students and collaborating closely with educators and families to make a lasting impact during the 2026-2027 academic year.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist license required
- At least one year of classroom or school-based OT experience
- Current Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license, or in the process of obtaining (inability to sign TEE is not a barrier)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Adaptability for engaging with elementary or middle school students
- Commitment to evidence-based interventions and documentation
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to support students’ educational and functional goals across both school locations
- Evaluate students, develop and implement IEP goals, and monitor progress consistent with district guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure holistic care
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide staff training as needed
- Maintain clear, timely documentation and communication per state and district regulations
- Provide creative, adaptive solutions for students with diverse needs
