An exciting contract opportunity is available for a dedicated Occupational Therapist to work across two schools, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams and making a real impact for a diverse caseload. This full-time position spans the academic year, offering professional fulfillment and the chance to foster meaningful student progress.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Occupational Therapy license required
- At least one year of classroom experience in a school setting
- Current, or in-process, Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license (TEE not accepted)
- Ability to provide documentation of CDE license or COOL with your application
Responsibilities:
- Deliver onsite occupational therapy services for a caseload of 50 students (split between two schools)
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement IEPs, and adjust plans to meet individual student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to promote the best outcomes
- Maintain detailed records of student progress and therapy sessions
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive, student-centered environment
- Support students through both direct intervention and consultation with school staff
