Occupational Therapist School Setting - Brockton, MA

Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current and valid OT license in Massachusetts (or eligibility to obtain)
- Prior experience working in a school setting or with children/adolescents is highly desirable
- Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Flexibility to support students across various grade levels (K-12)
- Dedication to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for all learners
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess the needs of students and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct occupational therapy services onsite, targeting essential areas such as fine motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living
- Adapt and modify tasks to support student participation in academic and social activities
- Collaborate closely with school staff and families to support student success
- Maintain clear and accurate records in compliance with school and regulatory standards
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to ongoing goal setting
- Offer expertise and training to teachers and caregivers as needed
This full-time position (32.5 hours per week) offers a consistent schedule onsite, allowing you to build meaningful connections within the school community. The caseload will be determined based on student needs, providing variety and the chance to work with a broad age range.
