Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active OT license for the state of Massachusetts (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience providing occupational therapy services in a school setting, preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, educators, and families
- Familiarity with IEP processes and school-based documentation
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches to a range of student needs and ages
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services for a K-12 student population (caseload details to be determined)
- Assess student abilities, develop individualized therapy plans, and set measurable goals
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families for student-centered support
- Document therapy sessions, progress, and IEP contributions in compliance with school and state requirements
- Recommend adaptive equipment, classroom modifications, and sensory strategies as needed
- Participate in meetings, professional development, and collaborative problem-solving as an integral member of the support team
