Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state
- Previous experience providing OT services in a school-based environment is preferred
- Strong understanding and practical knowledge in working with individuals with autism and diverse developmental needs
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Capacity to adapt therapeutic interventions to meet a variety of student needs
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver individualized and group OT services
- Collaborate with Special Education teams to contribute insights to IEP development and progress monitoring
- Support students in achieving functional goals related to sensory processing, motor skills, and daily living activities
- Provide ongoing support, recommendations, and training for classroom staff and family members
- Maintain organized, timely, and accurate records in compliance with district and regulatory guidelines
