Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Occupational Therapist license (OT) for the state of Minnesota
- Prior experience working in a school environment preferred
- Strong understanding of school-based therapy best practices, including IEP development and service delivery
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
- Ability to manage time effectively and adapt to a dynamic educational setting
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students’ occupational therapy needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with students’ IEP goals
- Provide direct and consultative OT services to students across various grades
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of services and student progress
- Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and parents to support student participation in school activities
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
